Dr. Horn
Dr. Horn then went back to school in Florida to obtain updated science classes. Upon completion of the additional more current science curriculum, Dr. Horn closed his decorating center, moved to Houston, Texas, and enrolled at Texas Chiropractic College.
The professional school program from Texas Chiropractic College was a 5½ year academic program. Dr. Horn choose to accelerate this program by going all year long. This vigorous course of study involved 28 to 30 hours of science courses per week, all year long for 3½ years. The normal college load for a full time student at most universities is 18 to 20 hours per week.
During this time at professional school, Dr. Horn also did a considerable amount of additional studies in nutrition, kinesiology, and acupuncture. Upon graduation, Dr. Horn already had the state requirements to take his acupuncture exam in Florida.
Dr. Horn has continually taken additional studies geared toward helping patients improve health. Some of these additional studies are Neuro Emotional Technique, Total Body Modification, Applied Kinesiology, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Spine, No Nonsense Rehab., Back Swing Dynamics Golf, Basic and Advanced Nutrition, Myofascial Release, Percussor & Arthostim Technique, Neuro Somatic Programming, Extremity Adjusting, Acupuncture Orthopedics, Live Blood Analysis, body Restoration Technique, Applied Neurology, Winning Techniques of the Tour De France, and his Fellowship in Acupuncture by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. This is by no means all the additional areas of study that Dr. Horn has taken.
Currently Dr. Horn is expanding his area of nutrition and herbal medicine. He is enrolled with the Australian College of Phytotherapy and Texas Chiropractic College for a Diplomat in Internal Medicine. Studies in acupuncture always continue.
